Still Cannot Send Messages

This morning I logged in and tried again. I am still unable to 'Send Messages', but I now get a slightly different message. I downloaded the new upgrade, but now I am getting this message: "Tube Toolbox was unable to perform the last action. This is generally caused when YouTube.com is temporarily not available."

I navigated to youtube and logged into my account. It is all there, up and running.

Please help.

Please check that your account is in English. Your messages can be sent in another language but your account needs to be in English for our software to interpret the error messages. When we get a response from YouTube that a send was not successful, we look at the error message sent to see why it was not successful. If your YouTube account is not setup as English we can’t interpret the error so we code it as “Unknown”. Once we get 5 unknown errors we stop sending.

At the bottom of the YouTube page is the information below – you can change it there. ALSO, change the language setting for your Google + account to be English.

I have verified that the language is 'english' and the country is 'worldwide'. I have done this for both the direct login for Firefox, as well as the browser embedded in TTB.

I do notice that the browser in TTB is flipping continuosly between these URLs: https://www.youtube.com/singin?actionpromptidentity=true&app=desktop&next=%2F https://www.youtube.com/signin?actionpromptidentity=true&next=%2F&app=desktop https://www.youtube.com/signin?app=desktop&next=%2F&actionpromptidentity=true https://www.youtube.com/signin?next=%2F&actionpromptidentity=true&app=desktop

There is an issue with your data file which we will need to fix. We need you to send your TubeToolboxData.sdf file to support@tubetoolbox.com. When you send it be sure and reference this forum post.

Also, do not use Tube Toolbox after you send the file (until we send it back to you).

Hey Toolman? I sent in the requested file yesterday at 5:35pm pst to 'support@tubetoolbox.com'. I rec'd a notice just now that the email I sent to 'Failed Recipient: tubetoolbox@gmail.com' could not be delivered. Can you let me know that you have received the file and are working on it? If not, you may have to give me an alternate email to send the file to.

Thanks, William

Please follow these instructions.

If you have a Windows XP computer, you should use this folder C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sincell\Tube Toolbox\ instead of the C:\ProgramData\Sincell\Tube Toolbox referenced below.

  1. Log out of Tube Toolbox
  2. Delete the following files (and ONLY these files) a. C:\ProgramData\Sincell\Tube Toolbox\TubeToolboxLog.xml b. C:\ProgramData\Sincell\Tube Toolbox\YouTubeLog.xml c. If you can’t find the file above, it is most likely because the folders or files are hidden. To resolve this issue follow the instructions in this link for XP/Vista - http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/1521/howtoviewhiddenandsystemfilesandfoldersinvista/ or this link for Windows 7 - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial151.html
  3. Log into Tube Toolbox
  4. If issue occurs again, send me the following files as email attachments. a. C:\ProgramData\Sincell\Tube Toolbox\TubeToolboxLog.xml b. C:\ProgramData\Sincell\Tube Toolbox\YouTubeLog.xml

I sent a file a while ago. I have not had any response on it since. Can you give me an idea on how long it will take to 'rebuild' the file? I have had TTB for 2 months now and have only been able to use it for about a week and a half. --William
